Avoid cancer with some lifestyle habits.


  Cancer is one of the most important health complications in modern world. It constitutes one of the deadliest and most feared diseases of people all over the world. Twelve million individuals living in America alone were diagnosed with this disease in 2008. Five years later, more than 1.6 million new cases were diagnosed.

   There are some lifestyle that can offer considerable protection from cancer occurrences.

  1.  People should never panic about acquiring cancer since according to various research studies it is not an epidemic condition.


 2.  It is advisable never to overeat because this encourages growth of tumors which grow lot faster than normal cells leading to cancer. A healthy diet can prevent tumours and cancer.

  
 3. Red meat consumption should be avoided as it contains glycoproteins which can lead to persistent inflammation in the tissues. Growth of tumours is also an issues with consumption of red meat.


 4.  Consumption of carbohydrates sometimes can lead to unceasing inflammation. According to a study in Denmark, a diet low in glycemic load that is low in cereals and potatoes and high in fruits and dairy can lead to better metabolism and insulin sensitivity.


5.   A person should not be negative about consuming organic food. It is believed that tumours grow when people consume produce grown conventionally.


6.  Selenium and calcium supplements can offer considerable protection against colorectal cancer and large colon polyps.


7.  Exposure to toxic environments can lead to development of malignancies such as lung cancer, throat cancer, cervical cancer and leukemia. Safe sex is also an important recommendation. 


8.   It is important to get screened for cancer. Women who are between 21 to 29 years should get tested for cervical cancer.
