Oolong Tea: A ''Health Suggestion''

 Oolong tea is a type of tea that is made from the leaves of the Camelia sinensis plant. Oolong is a chinese word and it means ''black dragon''. It constitutes a brand of tea that is associated with various health benefits. 

1) Energy Boosting: Small amounts of caffeine are present in this type of tea which renders it a preferable beverage in order to get a quick energy boost compared to other energy drinks. Additionally its valuable feature is that it does not over energize the body. 

2) Effective against Cancer: Antioxidants are organic compounds that eliminate radical damage to DNA and cells thus cancer can be prevented. A range of antioxidants can be found in oolong tea. 

3) Healthy for Skin: Skin is one of the most sensitive parts of the body so the appropriate protection is required. Oolong tea is an example of protection as it protects the skin from sun damage caused by the powerful UV rays. 

4) Bone Health: When oolong tea is consumed for high periods of time then it has the potential to enhance the mineral density of the teeth. Thus another medical condition which is of high importance, osteoporosis, would be prevented. 

5) Helps with Weight Loss: Oolong tea also contains polyphenols which are valuable as weight can be eliminated efficiently. Additionally, it aids in increasing the metabolism which encourages the burning of fat. 

6) Reduces Risk of Cardiovascular Disease: According to a study carried out in Kyoto university in Japan oolong tea can reduce efficiently the risk of cardiovascular disease. Evidence showed that drinking one to six cups of oolong tea resulted in 22% reduction of risk for males and 38% for females. Moreover, it lowers blood cholesterol and blood pressure.
